Sound Artifacts Vintage is headquartered in Long Beach, New York. It is the culmination of the commitment and dedication of two teachers who left the classroom to embrace collecting and creating.  

We curate vintage jewelry, home decor, music, art and utility items.  Intermingling the old and the quirky and the fancy inspires us. We love the juxtaposition of eclectic, rare, stylish and unique treasures that surprisingly come together in beautiful ways - we have something for everyone!

I have always loved being surrounded by beautiful things. Growing up in New York I spent summers upstate and winters at the beach always marveling and appreciating both landscapes.  I foster a love for elephants, poetry, music, food, and nature in my creations, carefully respecting the historical and artistic meaning carried in each object.  Raised by literary parents, taught to always see the elegance of words and literature, inspired me to search beyond text and discover  the beauty and wonder in everyday objects, especially with eclectic home decor and trinkets.  Being a teacher shaped my dedication to the search for beauty and truth in an authentic life, which has led me to this creative journey with Sound Artifacts Vintage. We create and curate objects of art and vintage collectibles to inspire the many possibilities the past and present can offer the future - because each day we can see things differently. It is with this purpose where we begin our work together.

Robert Gallopini

I spent my life surrounded by antiques and old objects. My parents and I were antique dealers who sold at shows, markets and our retail store in Lynbrook New York. As a history teacher for the last twenty years I used many of the artifacts from my collection to bring stories from the past to life. I love holding a piece in my hand and dreaming about all the hands it has passed though before landing in mine. As a lover of nature, art and music, Sound Artifacts Vintage is the perfect outlet for my historical, creative and artistic endeavors.
